Managing Director
Michael Foote
Mike has been with the Company for 10 years. He started as estimator in
1997 and was promoted to Manager when the company was reformatted in 2000.
In the early days he was responsible for estimating, allocating and supervising
work on top of his Management duties. As the Company has grown Mike has
had to relinquish these roles to concentrate on management only. Mike
is a keen Golfer.
Plumbing Foreman / Director
Neil Warriner
Neil has been in the industry for 17 years and with Plumbing & Gas
Works for 7 years. He is a qualified Craftsman Plumber and Gasfitter and
Registered Drainlayer. He served his apprenticeship in Hamilton, and later
spent time in Australia working in the industry there. He is also qualified
in laying and jointing HDPE piping for underground gas mains and is an
IQP person in Backflow prevention.
Chairman of Directors
Chris Foote
Chris completed three years of his apprenticeship in Plumbing and Gasfitting
in the 1970s and has spent many years since then in company management
roles.
Gasfitting Foreman
Paul Edwards
Paul has 32 years experience in the Gasfitting industry, and has been
involved at almost every level. Working for a Gas Supplier, a Gas Appliance
Importer and Gas Installation Contractors. He has been with the company
for 6 months.
Drainlaying Foreman
Jim Sweeney
Jim has been in the construction industry for many years, and has had
many different roles including Plumbing, roofing, refrigeration, and drainlaying.
Jim rejoined the company as a drainlayer 5 years ago.
Estimator
James Winter
James is one of our newer employees having been working for the company
for 18 months. Prior to this he has seven years experience as an estimator
in the Building industry.
Office Manager / Administrator
Tina Filbry
Tina joined the company 4 years ago and has 30 years experience working
in offices large and small. Tina enjoys travel, reading and music when
not at work.
Tradesmen
Allan
He started his Apprenticeship with the Company and is a Third year -Apprentice
Plumber and Gasfitter. Allan has been with the company 3 years. Allan
has a 7 month old baby girl and enjoys spending time with her and his
wife. Allan is also a qualified chef.
Anthony
Registered Plumber, Gasfitter and Drainlayer. Anthony has been with the
company 5 years. Anthony enjoys computer games especially Transformers.
Geoff
Craftsman Plumber and Registered Drainlayer. Geoff has been with the company
for 10½ years. Prior to joining our company Geoff has worked in
the Plumbing Industry for 31½ years. Geoff is always working and
seems to never sit still. He is a keen gardener.
Greg
He started his apprenticeship with the Company and is a Registered Plumber
and Gasfitter. Greg has been with the company 10 years. Greg enjoys socialising
and gardening.
Hayden
He started his apprenticeship with the Company and is a Registered Drainlayer.
Hayden has been with the company 4 years. Hayden enjoys restoring cars,
motor biking and snowboarding in his leisure time.
Jacob
He started his apprenticeship with the Company and is an Apprentice Drainlayer.
Jacob has been with the company 1 year. Jacob is a keen fisherman and
plays club rugby for Marist.
Mike
Registered Gasfitter and Plumber. Mike has been with the company 5 years.
Mike spends his spare time restoring vehicles.
Nick
He started his apprenticeship with the Company and is an Apprentice Gasfitter
and Plumber. Nick has been with the company 3 years. Nick has recently
purchased a new van and is fitting it out as a camper ready for the summer
holidays.
Wayne
Registered Gasfitter and Plumber. Wayne has been with the company 6 months.
Prior to joining our company Wayne has worked in the Plumbing Industry
for 11 years. Wayne has a young son and most weekends he goes to Competition
go-karting with him.
